Explicit PD on a piece of equipment when new to the school (and follow up eg problem solving)
iPads in every team? eg one in every team rotate to see which teachers would use.

- Discussed 'Educational Purpose' e.g. Kiwi Kids Songs, Read to Reads etc (especially on blogs, I'd still add an attribution to resource esp published books e.g. Gruffulo )
- Mentioned Tessa's valuable resources - here's the link to them
https://paulaspages.wikispaces.com/Digital+CitizenshipIPods - discussed

Term: 2
Date: 13th June
Time:
Programme/
PD Activities:
Monday
Year 4 We’d like to spend some time on Monday
looking at the best way of doing storyboards, whether it’s
video or camera shots. That fits in with our KOS unit.
For our planning focus for T3, it’ll be Rugby World Cup but more
looking at countries, capitals, map work etc and how we can incorporate as
much IT into that as possible.
Year 3 Year 3’s would be interested in doing a unit on
The Rugby World Cup and/or Rotorua.
We would also like to have a tutorial on programmes that are already
available on our Westbrook computers and know what we can do with them
with year 3 children. For instance: we have Comic Life and we use quite regularly.
What other things can it do?
Otherwise, we would like to explore some of the Literacy sites that we know we can get from the nzra.org website but are unfamiliar with.
